Scientists discover a planet whose magnetic field cannot be explained

A planet that is estimated to be 20-light years away from Earth has scientists puzzled.

They have found out that the planets magnetic field is 200 times stronger than Jupiter’s which in turn is 16 to 54 times stronger than Earth’s. The object who name is SIMP J01365663+0933473 buffles scientists as to how it can maintain such a strong magnetic field and create glowing auroras. (they can start figuring out proper names before trying to actually study something)

Melodie Kao an astrophysicist at Arizona State University said in a statement from the National Radio Astronomy Observatory “This particular object is exciting because studying its magnetic dynamo mechanisms can give us new insights on how the same type of mechanisms can operate in extrasolar planets-planets beyond our solar system.”

The planet was first discovered in 2016 and has other mysteries besides its magnetic field. For example it is a brown dwarf that is a “failed star” according to scientists. But this particular one is right at the boundary between a planet and a brown dwarf.

This observation was made with a radio telescope and that means that the scientists might be able to find other planets by their auroras.

P.S. The Universe has no end and no beginning, here the star is 20-light years away but in reality that is a minute distance. I am saying this in order for the readers to understand that the Universe is Infinite and that science even though it has made remarkable deeds and has helped us in many ways it is still in its infancy. Humanity will be benefited more if all the obscene amounts of money that are wasted in space be given to real needs, to real humans. Our technology is far too primitive for anything Space related, thus our Countries should focus more to reality and to their Citizens. I will also add something that will be of interest to anyone who reads this, there is a Star that has a diameter of light years. If our scientists find this giant I will take my hat off to them.
