Indonesia is hit by big tsunami over 200 dead and 800+ injured

The beaches near Sunda Strait in Indonesia were hit by a tsunami Saturday night. The wave was not caused by an earthquake but from the eruption of mount Krakatoa and that early warning systems are tied mostly to tectonic activity rather than volcanic. The volcano is also situated in the Sunda Strait and has periodically spewed ash.

A total of 222 people were killed and 843 injured while 28 are missing.
